This Privacy Policy explains how JY Aerial Imaging LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit jyaerialimaging.com, request a quote, or use our aerial photography and documentation services. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Contact details: name, email address, and phone number.
Property and project details: property address, property type, requested service, preferred dates, access instructions, and site hazards.
Communications: emails, messages, and other correspondence with us.
Billing information: invoice and payment records. Card payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.

Information created through our services

Aerial photographs and video of the property you authorize us to photograph.
Flight records, such as dates, times, locations, and FAA airspace authorizations, which we keep to comply with federal aviation requirements.

Information collected automatically

Our website hosting provider may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance purposes. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.

2. How We Use Your Information

To respond to inquiries and prepare quotes.
To schedule, perform, and deliver photography services.
To request FAA airspace authorizations when required for your property's location.
To send invoices, collect payments, and keep business, tax, and accounting records.
To communicate about your booking, including weather and safety rescheduling.
To use photographs for portfolio and marketing purposes as described in Section 13 of our Terms & Conditions, with faces and license plates blurred.
To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

Service providers that help us run the business, such as Google (quote forms and photo delivery through Google Drive), our email provider, our website host (Cloudflare), and payment processors. These providers handle information under their own privacy policies.
The FAA, when an airspace authorization requires location and flight details.
Our insurance provider, if needed in connection with a claim.
Legal authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the safety of people or property.

We do not include your name, email address, phone number, or other nonpublic contact information in marketing materials without your permission.

4. Aerial Imagery & Privacy

We photograph only properties our clients are authorized to have photographed. Neighboring properties and surrounding areas may appear incidentally in aerial images, as described in Section 16 of our Terms & Conditions.

Faces of identifiable people are blurred in delivered images, and faces and readable license plates are blurred in images used for marketing, unless written permission is given.
We do not conduct surveillance of neighboring properties or individuals.
If you are a neighbor or other person who appears in an image we have published and would like it removed or further blurred, email us and we will review and respond to your request promptly.

5. Website, Cookies & Third Parties

Our website does not set its own cookies. However, some features are provided by third parties:

Quote request form: provided by Google Forms. Information you submit is processed by Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Google may set cookies when the form loads.
Fonts: loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
Instagram: links to our Instagram page are governed by Instagram's own privacy policy once you leave our site.

6. Data Retention

Delivered photographs remain available for download for 30 days after delivery, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
We keep business records, such as quotes, invoices, payment records, and flight records, for as long as needed for business, tax, insurance, and legal purposes.
Quote requests that do not result in a booking are deleted when no longer needed.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including access-controlled accounts and secure (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices

You may contact us to:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your personal information, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax, or insurance purposes.
Request that photographs of your property not be used in our portfolio or marketing.

9. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
