2. Booking & Payment
A 50% deposit of the total quoted service price is required to reserve a scheduled appointment.
Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received and the appointment has been accepted by JY Aerial Imaging LLC.

- The remaining 50% is due after the photography session has been completed.
- Finished photographs will be delivered after full payment is received.
Two-Visit Packages
For standard two-visit packages (other than the Hurricane Season Package), each visit represents 50% of the package's total service value.
- A 50% deposit is required at booking.
- The initial deposit covers the first photography visit.
- Finished photographs from the first visit may be released within the standard delivery window.
- The remaining 50% is due after the second visit has been completed.
- Photographs from the second visit will be delivered after the remaining payment is received.
Hurricane Season Package
- The full $325 package price is due at booking, before the initial visit.
- The package price includes a reserved follow-up visit for the applicable coverage period.
- By booking this package, the customer acknowledges the cancellation and non-refundable terms in Sections 3 and 10.
Recurring Construction Projects
Recurring construction photography is billed according to the individually approved project agreement.
Payment arrangements may be weekly, biweekly, monthly, or based on another agreed schedule.
Payment must be current before the applicable photographs are released.
No minimum number of visits or minimum project duration is required.
3. Cancellation Policy
Customers must notify JY Aerial Imaging LLC to cancel, by email to jordan@jyaerialimaging.com. The cancellation takes effect when the notice is received.
A $25 cancellation fee applies when a customer cancels a confirmed appointment before photography services have begun.
When a customer cancels before the first visit:
- The $25 cancellation fee is deducted from the initial deposit.
- The remaining deposit balance is refunded.
- Any additional prepaid amounts for unperformed services are refunded.
Cancellation After the First Visit
For standard two-visit packages (other than the Hurricane Season Package), if the customer cancels after the first visit has been completed:
- JY Aerial Imaging LLC retains the 50% payment earned for the completed first visit.
- The second visit will not be charged.
- The additional $25 cancellation fee is waived.
- Any prepaid amount exceeding the value of completed services will be refunded.
Example: For a $299 Roof Before & After package, the first visit is valued at $149.50. If the customer cancels after that visit, JY Aerial Imaging LLC retains $149.50, and no additional cancellation fee is charged.
Hurricane Season Package Cancellation
- Before the initial visit: the $25 cancellation fee is deducted and the remaining $300 is refunded.
- After the initial visit has been completed: the package price is non-refundable, including if the customer does not use the follow-up visit.
For custom or partially completed recurring projects, payment for completed work and refunds for unperformed work will be governed by the individual project agreement.
4. Rescheduling Policy
Customers are allowed one complimentary reschedule when notice is provided at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
The new appointment date is subject to availability.
Additional rescheduling requests or requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be treated as cancellations and subject to the $25 cancellation fee.
Rescheduling initiated by JY Aerial Imaging LLC because of unsafe weather, restricted airspace, or other operational safety concerns will not count against the customer's complimentary reschedule.
5. Weather, Hazardous Conditions & Flight Safety
All drone operations are subject to applicable FAA regulations, required flight authorizations, weather, and site conditions.
JY Aerial Imaging LLC reserves the right to postpone, modify, discontinue, or decline any flight that cannot be performed safely or legally.
Conditions that may prevent a flight include:
- High winds or severe weather
- Lightning or heavy rainfall
- Restricted or unauthorized airspace
- Nearby aircraft or emergency operations
- Unsafe takeoff or landing areas
- Construction equipment and overhead obstacles
- Unsafe proximity to people or vehicles
- Other hazards determined by the remote pilot in command
The remote pilot in command maintains final responsibility and authority for flight safety.
When JY Aerial Imaging LLC cannot perform the requested service safely or legally, the customer may reschedule at no additional charge or receive a refund for unperformed services.
No customer cancellation fee will be charged under these circumstances.
Controlled Airspace Authorization
Some properties in Southwest Florida are located in controlled airspace near airports. Flights in controlled airspace require FAA authorization before the flight can take place.
- Please allow at least 2 business days between booking and the scheduled flight for properties in controlled airspace. Some authorizations require additional FAA review and may take longer.
- Appointments for these properties are confirmed once FAA authorization has been received.
- FAA authorizations may limit flight altitude or area, which may limit the camera angles and views available.
- If authorization is denied or not received in time, the customer may reschedule at no additional charge or receive a refund for unperformed services. No cancellation fee applies.
6. Customer Responsibilities & Property Access
Customers must provide accurate information about the property or project location.
Customers are responsible for obtaining necessary property owner permissions and arranging safe access to the site.
Known hazards, access limitations, restricted areas, or special property requirements must be disclosed before the appointment.
If the customer fails to provide required access or permissions, preventing the scheduled service from being performed, the appointment may be treated as a customer cancellation.
During the flight, customers must keep people who are not involved in the operation, pets, and vehicles clear of the flight area as directed by the remote pilot. FAA regulations restrict drone flights over people and moving vehicles.
JY Aerial Imaging LLC cannot guarantee every requested camera angle or photograph when visibility, access, obstacles, or flight restrictions prevent it.
7. Photography, Editing & Delivery
Standard packages include professionally edited photographs up to the quantity stated in the purchased package.
Standard photo editing may include:
- Exposure and brightness adjustments
- White balance correction
- Natural color correction
- Contrast, shadow, and highlight adjustments
- Horizon alignment
- Lens distortion correction
- Sharpening and appropriate cropping
Documentation photographs will not be intentionally altered to conceal visible damage, remove material defects, or misrepresent actual conditions. Blurring of people's faces and license plates for privacy, as described in Section 16, is not considered an alteration of property conditions.
Standard Turnaround
24–72 hours after each completed photography visit.
This turnaround assumes that required payment for the corresponding photograph batch has been received.
For two-visit packages, photographs from the first visit may be released under the original deposit. The second batch will be released after the remaining balance has been paid.
For recurring construction projects, payment and delivery follow the approved project agreement.
Custom editing, unusually large projects, or circumstances outside the company's control may affect processing times. Customers will be informed when an extended turnaround is necessary.
8. Digital Delivery & File Retention
Finished photographs are generally delivered through Google Drive or another agreed digital file-sharing method.
Customers are responsible for downloading and maintaining copies of delivered photographs.
Digital files will remain available for download for 30 days after delivery.
Following this period, JY Aerial Imaging LLC may remove or archive files without guaranteeing their future availability.
Unless specifically agreed upon in writing, the following are not included:
- Unedited photographs
- RAW image files
- Unedited video footage
- Flight logs
- Working project files
9. Service Area & Travel Charges
Travel within Lee County, Florida, is included in standard service pricing.
A flat $25 travel fee per visit applies to locations outside Lee County.
Travel fees are disclosed in the approved quote before booking.
10. Hurricane Season Documentation
Single-visit documentation before a storm is available as General Property Documentation and is governed by the standard single-visit terms.
Hurricane Season Package
The $325 package is paid in full at booking and includes:
- One initial photography visit, scheduled after booking
- One follow-up photography visit, requested by the customer at any time during the coverage period
- Up to 20 professionally edited photographs per visit
- Comparable photo angles when practical
- Digital delivery following each visit
Annual Coverage Period
May 1 through December 31 of the applicable calendar year.
The coverage period begins one month before the official Atlantic hurricane season and ends one month afterward.
Follow-Up Visit
- The customer may request the follow-up visit at any time during the coverage period, such as after a hurricane, tropical storm, or other severe weather, or at the end of the season.
- Follow-up visit requests must be received by email no later than December 15 of the coverage year.
- Only one follow-up visit is included. Once used, the package is complete.
- Photographs from the initial visit document the property's condition only as of the date they were taken.
Post-Storm Safety & Scheduling
When a follow-up visit is requested after a storm or severe weather event, it is performed only when JY Aerial Imaging LLC determines that it is safe and legal to do so. Before the visit is scheduled:
- Storm conditions must have fully passed the area.
- Any evacuation orders, curfews, or local access restrictions affecting the property must be lifted.
- Roads to the property must be reasonably safe and passable.
- Any FAA Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) covering the area must be lifted or no longer apply. After major storms, the FAA often restricts airspace for rescue and recovery operations, and these restrictions may remain in place for days or weeks.
Post-storm visits will not be scheduled earlier than 72 hours after storm conditions have ended in the county where the property is located. Requests are scheduled in the order they are received, and no specific completion date is guaranteed.
Customers must disclose known post-storm hazards at the property, such as downed power lines, debris, flooding, or structural damage. JY Aerial Imaging LLC will not enter or launch from unsafe areas and may fly from a safe nearby location where permitted. Site conditions may limit the views and angles available.
Post-storm photographs are not intended to meet insurance claim deadlines. Customers should not rely solely on these photographs for time-sensitive insurance or legal purposes and should follow their insurer's instructions for documenting damage.
Package Expiration
The package expires on December 31 of the applicable coverage year and does not carry over to the following year.
Once the initial visit has been completed, the package price is non-refundable. If the customer does not request the follow-up visit by December 15, the follow-up visit is forfeited and no refund is issued.
If a timely requested follow-up visit cannot be completed by December 31 because of weather, safety conditions, access restrictions, or FAA flight restrictions, the visit will be extended into the following year at no additional charge.
Where JY Aerial Imaging LLC cannot perform a timely requested follow-up visit, the customer may receive an extension or a refund of the portion of the package price allocated to that unperformed visit ($162.50).
Storm documentation does not constitute a certified damage assessment or insurance inspection.
11. Construction Progress Photography
One-time construction progress photography is priced at $299 and includes up to 20 professionally edited aerial photographs.
Recurring construction photography is quoted according to the individual project's:
- Duration
- Location
- Site size and complexity
- Number and frequency of visits
- Required photography angles
- Photo quantities and deliverables
There is no minimum visit count or project duration for recurring construction photography.
When practical, repeatable flight positions and camera angles will be used to document construction progress consistently.
Exact repeat positioning cannot be guaranteed because weather, site conditions, obstructions, or airspace requirements may change.
Construction photography is for visual documentation only and does not certify construction quality, project completion, structural integrity, or building-code compliance.
12. Copyright & Customer Usage Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, JY Aerial Imaging LLC retains ownership and copyright of the original photographs and videos created during its services.
After full payment of the applicable invoice, customers receive a nonexclusive license to use the delivered photographs or videos for the purposes agreed upon in the project quote.
Permitted uses may include:
- Property marketing
- Real estate listings
- Personal property records
- Construction progress documentation
- Internal company reports
- Business presentations
Customers may not claim ownership of the original copyright or resell photographs as standalone stock media without written permission.
13. Portfolio & Marketing Rights
JY Aerial Imaging LLC may use photographs and videos created during its services to promote its business.
Promotional use may include:
- Business website and portfolio
- Instagram, Facebook, and other social media
- YouTube videos and reels
- Online advertisements
- Printed promotional materials
- Examples of previous photography projects
JY Aerial Imaging LLC will not intentionally disclose customer contact information, private account details, or other nonpublic personal information in its marketing materials without permission.
Confidential Projects
Customers must disclose any required confidentiality restrictions before the applicable photography work begins.
Any restrictions on publication, image usage, or marketing must be agreed upon in writing.
For projects covered by an approved confidentiality agreement, JY Aerial Imaging LLC will follow the agreed restrictions.
Marketing use remains subject to applicable privacy laws and other legal requirements. See our Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.
14. Photography & Documentation Limitations
Aerial photographs document visible exterior conditions from available camera perspectives at the time the images are captured.
Photography may not reveal:
- Concealed damage
- Hidden structural defects
- Inaccessible areas
- Conditions obscured by structures, vegetation, equipment, or shadows
- Defects that are not visually apparent
JY Aerial Imaging LLC does not guarantee that photographs will satisfy requirements imposed by insurance companies, courts, government agencies, professional inspectors, or other third parties.
Roof photography and general property documentation are not substitutes for professional inspections.
Vacant lot aerial photography does not include legal property boundary markings, GIS parcel overlays, boundary estimates, surveys, or property measurements. Under Florida law, determining or displaying property boundaries is the practice of surveying and mapping and requires a licensed Florida surveyor and mapper (Fla. Stat. § 472.005(4)). JY Aerial Imaging LLC is not a licensed surveyor and mapper.
15. Additional Services & Changes
Additional photographs, editing, return visits, special photography requests, or other work outside the selected package may result in additional charges.
Any such charges must be approved by the customer before the additional work is performed.
Changes to project duration, visit frequency, photography coverage, or recurring construction requirements may require an updated quote.
16. Neighboring Properties & Privacy
JY Aerial Imaging LLC performs aerial photography and videography solely for the purposes authorized by the client. Due to the nature of aerial imaging, neighboring properties, structures, and surrounding areas may appear incidentally in photographs or video recordings.
JY Aerial Imaging LLC will make reasonable efforts to respect the privacy of neighboring property owners and occupants and will not intentionally conduct unauthorized surveillance of neighboring properties or individuals.
Blurring of People
For privacy, the faces of any identifiable individuals who appear in delivered photographs or video will be blurred before delivery. Clients who appear in their own photographs may request in writing, before delivery, that their own faces not be blurred.
In photographs or video used for portfolio or marketing purposes, the faces of identifiable individuals and readable vehicle license plates will be blurred unless written permission has been provided.
The remote pilot in command retains sole authority to modify, suspend, or terminate flight operations when necessary to comply with applicable laws, maintain safety, or address legitimate privacy concerns.
17. Satisfaction & Reshoots
If delivered photographs do not include the deliverables stated in the purchased package or approved quote, such as fewer photographs than stated or an agreed area that was safely accessible but not captured, the customer may request a reshoot by email within 7 days of delivery.
Approved reshoots will be performed at no additional charge, subject to scheduling, weather, and airspace availability.
Complimentary reshoots do not apply to weather, lighting, seasonal, or site conditions on the scheduled date; changes to the property after the visit; limits caused by access, safety, or FAA restrictions; or differences in personal preference. Additional reshoots may be requested at the applicable service rate.
18. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
Listed prices are starting rates and may vary with project requirements. Prices may change without notice; however, confirmed bookings will be honored at the price quoted at the time of booking.
19. Insurance & Limitation of Liability
JY Aerial Imaging LLC maintains general liability insurance with limits of up to $1,000,000. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JY Aerial Imaging LLC's total liability for any claim arising from its photography services, photographs, or deliverables shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
JY Aerial Imaging LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, denied or reduced insurance claims, missed deadlines, or delays caused by weather, airspace restrictions, or other circumstances outside its control.
This limitation does not apply to bodily injury or physical property damage caused by the negligence of JY Aerial Imaging LLC during flight operations, which will be handled in accordance with applicable law and its insurance coverage.
20. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from these terms or the services provided shall be brought in the state courts located in Lee County, Florida.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
21. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a service quote, confirming a booking, and submitting the required deposit, the customer agrees to the Terms & Conditions made available during the booking process.
Any separately executed written agreement will control where its specific provisions conflict with these general website terms.
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by JY Aerial Imaging LLC.
